The difficulty level of the trek is easy to moderate, It’s the best option for beginners and also the most popular trek in India. The trek is not recommended if you are suffering from asthma or other severe respiratory diseases. However, if your physician says you are good to go, you may consider taking this trek.

The ideal time for this trek is during May, June, September and October, the climate during these months remains pleasant during the day and gets a little cold at night. Rainy seasons are also a perfect time for the Triund trek even though it is a good time, overnight camping is impossible or would be difficult during this season. During winter months i.e. January, the trek to Laka glacier remains closed due to heavy snowfall.
The distance of Laka Glacier from Triund is approximately 6 km. Depending on your fitness level and speed, the trek should take between 4 to 5 hours.
 Usually, we take 22-24 people in one batch including males and females, We need a minimum of 6 people for a fixed departure but for the customized trip the group size doesn’t matter.
