• How to reach:

You can go by your own car or by public transportation, like as bus, train, or aeroplane, to get to McLeod Ganj, which is roughly 500 Kms from Delhi and 250 kms from Chandigarh.The most convenient way to go from Delhi to McLeod Ganj is to take an overnight Volvo operated by HRTC or HPTDC. Private operators also offer evening bus services between Delhi and Dharamshala. Train travel is the second and least expensive way to get to McLeod Ganj or Triund, It takes about 6-7 hours to get to Pathankot by train.

The trip to Indrahar Pass trip must start as soon as you arrive in Himachal Pradesh. It will take you from McLeod Ganj to the breathtaking Triund countryside. Summer after April is the best time to come for the Indrahar Pass as during this period, you will meet many fellow travelers on the way to Indrahar Pass.

During this period all of the snow will get meted from the path so you can easily trek.

  • You must carry following things for Indrahar pass height–
  • Carry a good Raincoat, as the weather in the mountains is unpredictable.
  • Carry a waterproof cover for your Backpack
  • Carry a stick; you can trek without a trekking stick till Snowline; after that, you will require a good Trekking Stick.
  • After Snowline you will not get any place to eat and stay. So you have to carry tents and other essentials with you.

If you are an experienced trekker and have few peoples with you, then you can do this group by yourself.

If you are solo and do not want to carry heavy luggage, you can book the Trek from any Travel Agency online. Or You can book a locals guide from Mcldoganj who will arrange everything for you as per your instructions.
